To anyone who has grown up in or lives in the Stockport suburb of Brinnington (or Brinny), the Three Sisterhood reference needs no explanation. So I won’t give one.

However the nod to the ‘beach’ on the river, which borders the amazing Reddish Vale Country Park, may puzzle some people, even locals. But it’s really there, and I discovered it during Covid, and it’s now one of my favourite dog walking spots.
