I’ve got one thing to say to people who have never been to Port Sunlight on The Wirral: why?

The Arts & Crafts village, with its Lady Lever Art Gallery focal point, is a bloody masterpiece!

We go there on our way to West Kirby, where we walk our dogs on the beach and to the two islands before heading to Marigolds, one of the best chippies in the north.

But The Wirral has lots more, too, from stunning coastal and countryside walks to pretty picture postcard villages.

Like the poster says, it’s dead classy.
