My journalism career started in Macclesfield, at the Macclesfield Advertiser, and ended in Macclesfield, at Ten Alps Publishing, a fair few years later.

And when I took up painting poster art 10 years ago, one of the first places I did was Macclesfield.

So Macc, a place I love, is kind of in my DNA, which is why I've revisited the town for my latest work, which celebrates its history of silk production and the connection with, of all things, treacle!
