What’s not to love about Herne Hill in London? It’s great in its own right, with fabulous amenities and the vast Brockwell Park and its lido, but it’s also sandwiched between the leafy suburb of Dulwich and trendy Brixton.

But the best thing of all is that it has the amazing Half Moon pub and hotel, owned by Fuller’s. We discovered it four years ago and now, with its un-corporate, creatively designed rooms, it’s the only place we stay in London. It has great hand-pulled beer and a top restaurant too. Wonderful!

Hence I’ve done my Herne Hill poster, which references the ‘moon’ quote in the classic film Now Voyager, starring Bette Davis.
